Dearest Ail,
I am so happy to have been able to be introduced to you through our mutual friend, Bernadette. God does work in mysterious ways!!!
For the past 11 yrs I have bought so many Self Help books as well as Grief books to help my daughter heal after her beloved Poppie (my dad); passed away . She was 12 yrs old then. All the books I have bought in the past remain in a bookcase probably never read past Pg 10.... When I heard about your Heartbreaking Story and the beautiful work of art; ("Beyond Words"), I knew it was my last hope at helping my daughter. I am so excited to say that she has had the book, (which I now call your Masterpiece); for a little over a month and every night before bed she adds a little more to the book. Great memories of her childhood with her Nanny & Poppie; that she had forgotten, (maybe even suppressed because of the pain from grief), are starting to surface more & more. She has added pictures to her pages of happy times with her Nanny & Poppie. This Journal of Love is truly unique to every person who has their own copy. I have found my daughter in tears some nights, but not because she is still missing her Nanny & Poppie but because she finally feels that she has re-connected with them and is moving forward from their death to a new awakening....a Journal filled with memories for life that will eventually be all contained in the book; ("Beyond Words"). She will always be able to go back to her journal and re-live her happier times with her Nanny & Poppie. She has even said that she will use this Journal as her private way of corresponding with them to let them know about her life from now on. One of the excerpts she has already written about was her recent Graduation and the Profession she has just embarked on. While she adds her own recent stories about her life,she knows now that they are only a thought away and shall be enjoying her life from now on along with her. She truly believes now that they walk beside her and are will always be there for guidance and strength.
Once again I thank you Ail, for this wonderful Journal "Beyond Words". The wonderful stories and excerpts you wrote in The Journal; are awe inspiring as well. Some of the stories even give goosebumps as you read and realize that our loved ones are really only a thought away.
A very Special Thank You goes to Zoe. Through the heartbreak of her death and your grief, has come a beautiful Masterpiece; "Beyond Words". I am certain that anyone suffering from grief over a loved one; can survive and awaken their soul to find beauty in death after reading "Beyond Words".
